FAQ

Is engineer to order software an ERP?

Not in EZIIL’s case, on purpose. A traditional ETO ERP is a large, configurable system with estimating, CPQ and MRP, built for big machinery builders and priced and staffed to match. EZIIL is simpler and narrower: quoting, planning, scheduling and shop-floor tracking for project-based fab shops, from EUR 120 / USD 140 a month.

Do I need to move everything at once?

No. You roll out one module at a time, in whatever order suits you, and your license grows only as you add modules. Many shops start with projects plus the Master View plan, then add production planning and reporting later.

Can I start small?

Yes. Starter is a complete base product, not a trial. A small shop can begin with the core plan and scheduling, add BOM, procurement or inventory when ready, and cancel next month if it is not a fit.

How long is setup?

Most shops are live in under a week. After a verbal yes, EZIIL sends a spreadsheet to fill in, builds your database over a couple of days, and runs a hands-on kickoff. Setting up a single job takes about 20 minutes to 4 hours depending on how much data you add.

Can it handle installation and field work?

Partly, and here is the honest boundary. The mobile app (iOS and Android) handles time logging, completing operations, and photo capture, which is useful for verifying installs. It does not have site maps or a site-address feature yet, so it will not navigate a crew to a job site. EZIIL is also not a sales CRM and not a product configurator.
